The beautifully crafted Narrow Box burner has two layers: an ash catch on the bottom and a holder for short or long incense sticks on top

The red terra cotta glaze has a tactile texture added with darker glaze dots that speak to the color of the plant

I stepped barefoot into the sand

The top layer has an opening for holding the incense over a narrow slot which allows fallen ash to drop into the catch below

samples are made using custom-dyed yarns by the head weaver
