Santo Stefano di Perno was replanted in the late 1970s and 1980s after years of non production. The Mascarello holding is approximately two thirds of a hectare. Where Monprivato is elegant and haunting, Santo Stefano is earthier and more rustic, with the weight and structure typical of Monforte. Same traditional winemaking: extended
