The artist made it in honor of his mother, who was always full of love. The suggestion of wings is subtle yet graceful, while the colors are a combination of traditional patinas and contemporary stains. It is coated with wax to maintain its luxurious shine. It is mounted on the grainy interior slice of a black walnut burl, sanded and stained by the artist. One of a
