The bird is sitting on a branch with flowers. There are turquoise stones in the center of the flowers. Very nice detailing on the tail feathers and flowers. This piece is hollow repousse handmade construction. *I have 2 of these brooches available. The only difference is the stones are darker on one than the other. Everything else is identical.
